The core features of Layerperks operate locally on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share your personal identity, browsing history, credit card details, or banking logins to any of our external servers.
All synced bank offers (like Amex or Chase) and user-inputted data are saved exclusively within your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local).
To keep Layerperks free and sustainable without selling user data, we participate in select affiliate marketing programs.
When you shop at certain supported merchants, the Extension may route your visit through an affiliate link. This process may place a standard affiliate cookie on your browser by the merchant or affiliate network to attribute the referral. This process is anonymous to us—we do not see who made the purchase, what exactly was bought, or any of your payment information.
Because your synced offer data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete all your saved offers at any time simply by clearing your browser cache or uninstalling the extension.
